The MG3 Core is a small petrol hatchback built for everyday driving. It suits a first car, a daily commute, or anyone who wants something easy to park and cheap to run. Five doors and five seats mean it works for a couple, a small family, or a mate in the back on the weekend.
Under the bonnet is a 1.5 litre four-cylinder petrol engine paired with an automatic gearbox. It uses about 6.7 litres of petrol per 100km on the combined cycle, so you are not filling up every few days. The light steering and compact size make it simple to drive in traffic and tight car parks.

“I was taken by surprise when I got the approval from Saul Catterall over the phone at work.
