How Carzie car leasing works
A Carzie lease is a fixed-term car lease with one weekly payment that covers the car, registration and comprehensive insurance. Here is the journey from browsing to driving.

Verify from your phone
Two secure SMS links arrive: photo ID through APLYiD, and bank statements through CreditSense. Both are private and take a few minutes each.

Get approved and pick up
If approved, we arrange handover at our Slacks Creek workshop. Your car arrives serviced, registered, insured and ready to drive.
1-2 business days
Two weeks of payments at pickup
When you collect your Carzie, the first two weeks of lease payments are paid in advance. Your regular weekly payments then continue for the rest of the term.
Insurance and registration are included
Your weekly payment includes comprehensive insurance and vehicle registration. You cover servicing, fuel, tolls, fines, and any at-fault insurance excess.
What happens after you apply?
APLYiD texts you a link to confirm your identity, and that one has to be done on your phone. CreditSense sends a text and an email to share your last 90 days of bank statements, so you can do that one on your phone or a computer. Most people finish both in about ten minutes.

The APLYiD text and the CreditSense text and email can each take up to 20 minutes to arrive. If your bank is not listed on CreditSense, email your statements to customercare@carzie.com.au and we will take it from there.
What does the weekly payment include?
Your Carzie lease is designed to be predictable. Here is what the one weekly price covers, so there are no surprises.
Fixed weekly payments
One predictable weekly fee for the whole term. You always know what you are paying and when.
Registration included
Your vehicle registration is included in the weekly payment, so a renewal never lands as a surprise bill.
Comprehensive insurance included
Comprehensive insurance is included in the weekly payment, covering the vehicle while you drive.
GPS tracking and an immobiliser
Every vehicle is fitted with GPS tracking and an immobiliser to protect the car. It is a condition of approval, and part of how we can approve drivers other lenders turn away.
Kilometres included every year
Your lease includes an annual kilometre allowance, with no curfews and no restrictions on where you go. We confirm your allowance with your quote and set it out in your lease agreement.

Can I lease with Carzie?
Most applicants with a steady income are eligible, even with past credit issues. You will need:
- A full Australian driver licence (not learner or provisional)
- To be at least 21 years old
- To live in South-East Queensland
- Steady income from work, Centrelink or a pension
- To collect the car from Slacks Creek, Brisbane

Carzie is a personal consumer lease: no employer involvement, no salary packaging and no loan. Here is how the four options compare.
