Who is Carzie?

Carzie is a car leasing service for South-East Queensland. You choose a car from our fleet and pay a fixed weekly price over a three to four year term, with registration and comprehensive insurance already included.

Who can apply for a Carzie lease?

You need to be 21 to 70 years old, to be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, to live in South-East Queensland, and to hold a full or open Australian driver licence, not a learner or provisional licence. You also need income from work, a pension or Centrelink, and to be able to collect the car from our Slacks Creek workshop in Brisbane.

Can I lease a car with bad credit?

Yes, it is possible to lease a car with Carzie even with bad credit. Carzie is designed for people who have been declined by mainstream banks and lenders, so past credit issues do not rule you out. We focus on what you can comfortably afford now, based on your current income and expenses, rather than a credit score alone. Every application is still assessed on its own merits.

Do you run a credit check when I apply?

Getting started is a soft enquiry that does not affect your credit score. If you choose to proceed, we complete a full credit assessment as part of your application, with your consent. We assess your application against your current income and expenses, not just your credit history.

Question 5

Is a lease the same as a car loan?

Accepted Answer

No. Carzie is a consumer lease, not a loan. You drive the car and make weekly payments, and the vehicle stays the property of its owner for the term.

Question 6

Can I buy the car at the end of the lease?

Accepted Answer

The lease covers driving the car, not buying it. When your lease ends you can hand it back, upgrade to a newer one, or let us know if you are interested in the car. Any sale would be a separate agreement with the vehicle's owner, at their discretion, and is not guaranteed.

How long are the lease terms?

Carzie leases run for a fixed term of three to four years. The available terms and the weekly price are shown on each vehicle.

Question 8

Is GPS tracking active on Carzie vehicles?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every Carzie vehicle is fitted with a GPS tracker and a remote immobiliser, and this is a condition of approval. We only use them to protect the vehicle, not to monitor your day-to-day driving.

Where do you operate?

We serve South-East Queensland, roughly from Coolangatta to Noosa. Living within the service area is part of approval because collection, servicing and support all depend on it. You collect your car from our Slacks Creek workshop in Brisbane.

What is included in the weekly price?

The weekly price covers vehicle registration and comprehensive insurance.

What is not included?

Accepted Answer

You cover servicing, fuel, tolls, fines, and any at-fault insurance excess if you make a claim. Everyday wear is expected; damage beyond fair wear and tear may be chargeable.

How much do I pay upfront?

When you collect your Carzie, the first two weeks of lease payments are paid in advance. Your regular weekly payments then continue for the rest of the term.

What do I need to apply?

You will need your physical full driver licence and your most recent 90 days of bank statements. These let our team verify your identity and assess affordability. We use secure, encrypted platforms to process your information. Carzie does not store your documents, and they are used solely for assessment.

How long does approval take?

Accepted Answer

Most applications are assessed and given an outcome quickly, often within one business day. The sooner we have your online application, your ID verification and your bank statements, the sooner we can confirm whether you are approved.
