About this vehicle
The Haval Jolion is a small SUV that seats five. The boot holds 430 litres with the rear seats up and 1133 litres with them folded, which covers a pram, the weekly shop or a set of weekend bags.
Under the bonnet is a 1.5 litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine making 110kW and 220Nm, driving the front wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. Official combined fuel use is 8.1 litres per 100km on 91 regular unleaded, and the tank holds 55 litres. It tows up to 1500kg braked.
Every petrol Jolion carries the same core safety kit: seven airbags including one between the front seats, autonomous emergency braking, lane keeping assist, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, adaptive cruise control and driver fatigue monitoring. A reversing camera and rear parking sensors are standard, and the touchscreen runs Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. ANCAP tested the Jolion in 2022 and gave it five stars.
