Bad credit car leasing
Bad credit car leasing on the Sunshine Coast
Turned down by a bank or dealership on the Sunshine Coast? You could still be approved for a Carzie lease. Our online application checks your eligibility with a soft credit check that never touches your file, weighing your income and employment today rather than a credit score from years ago.
If rejected for a car loan, you could still be approved for a car lease
Most car loan lenders need a strong credit history and a large deposit before they will say yes, so a low score or a past default is often an automatic decline. A Carzie lease works differently: approval depends on what you can afford today, backed by GPS tracking on every vehicle. With Carzie you can expect:
Fixed weekly payments
Know exactly what you're paying every week: the same amount for the life of your lease, with no surprises.
Registration and insurance included
Your one weekly payment already covers vehicle registration and comprehensive insurance, with nothing extra to arrange for those two costs.
No large deposit
There's no lump-sum deposit. You pay your first two weeks of lease payments when you collect your car, then your regular weekly payment continues.
Build a track record
Make steady weekly payments and work towards owning the car you've been driving at the end of your lease.
Find a car you love, and check your eligibility
You do not need a clean credit file to qualify for a Carzie lease. Most approved applicants fall into one of three groups: in steady employment, earning a steady income including Centrelink, or working on rebuilding their credit after a setback.
In steady employment
Full-time, part-time, self-employed or on a contract, as long as the income is steady and ongoing.
Earning an income, including Centrelink
Wages, Centrelink payments and pensions all count, provided they are steady and ongoing.
Rebuilding your credit
A default, a missed payment or a low credit score does not automatically rule you out: we weigh it against your income and expenses today.
What actually rules you out?
This does not automatically rule you out. If your defaults are settled and you have been employed for more than two months, or you have steady regular income, we weigh that against your expenses today rather than leading with a credit score cut-off.
What does our bad credit car leasing process look like?
A Carzie lease runs for three to four years on one fixed weekly payment, suited to commuting, family life or getting to a new job. We assess self-employed, casual and steady wage income the same way: on your situation today, not a credit check from years ago. Here is what to expect:
Choose your vehicle
Browse our available cars, decide on a weekly payment that suits your budget, choose a lease term and apply.
Apply online
Answer a few questions about your income, expenses and address history. It takes about five minutes and starts with a soft credit check that never affects your score.
~5 minutes
Verification and approval
We verify your identity through APLYiD and review around 90 days of bank statements through CreditSense to see what you can comfortably afford.
~10 minutes
Collect your car
Once approved, we'll arrange handover at our Slacks Creek workshop. Most approved customers collect within one to three business days.
1 to 3 business days
What will my application ask for?
- Your income and everyday expenses
- Your employment details, or your Centrelink or pension details
- Your driver licence and any driving history in the past 3 years
- Any current or discharged bankruptcy or court judgement
- A fixed residential address and a mobile phone we can reach you on
Local and on your side
Why GPS makes approval possible on the Sunshine Coast
A traditional loan has no way to recover the car once the money is out the door, so lenders lean hard on your credit score. Every Carzie vehicle is GPS-tracked and fitted with a remote immobiliser as a condition of approval, and that is exactly what lets us look past a rough credit file.
That is how we can say yes to Sunshine Coast applicants a bank might not. Cars are prepared at our Slacks Creek workshop, on Brisbane’s southside, and supported for the whole term whether you drive Caloundra, Maroochydore, Buderim or Noosa.

“I was taken by surprise when I got the approval from Saul Catterall over the phone at work. I was so glad to be in a car driving a vehicle instead of taking public transport here there and everywhere to work and back plus Ubers as well. It’s a money saver for me personally because I did the maths with Ubers daily to and from work to train stations and to home has saved me $120 a week. I drive a new MGHS and it’s very good on fuel and I love the fact that I can wake up in the morning and get into my own car and I thank Saul Catterall for his approval and for progressing with me to get me into my new MGHS. I am enjoying my never car and I’m grateful for your help.”
